Dordogne is a water-rich area. La Moulinasse belongs to val de Dronne, the 'valley' of the Dronne. There are several possibilities to explore the area by canoe or kayak. Green and tranquility guaranteed.
The kayak association SNPA Aubeterre organizes trips from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne and also offers evening trips and stand up paddle. The organisation and the material are solid.

Périgord Vert is... green. And hilly, with here and there villages around Romanesque fortified churches : a wonderful landscape to walk or cycle through. Around La Moulinasse there are plenty of short and long walks mapped out. We have topographical maps available. On the website of the tourist office of the region you can also download GPS tracks (tip: like every where on the French countryside, our internet connection is rather slow, so it can be useful to download the tracks in advance at home).

Of course you don't have to be a mountain biker at all to make very nice cycling trips. There are plenty of destinations and quiet roads around La Moulinasse or you can follow a signposted cycling route. Zone verte in Saint-Aulaye (at 15') rents out all kinds of bicycles, including electric bikes. Or you can rent bikes for several days via "DispoVelo", "Dordogne cycle hire" (ook elektrische fietsen), "the mountain bikehire company" or "Ouibike". Think of reservating in time.

VanxYmmersion it is an escape game on the domain of Auberge du Pauly, a nice restaurant barely 2,5km from La Moulinasse (with great icecream). The game is inspired by the film “l'auberge rouge” and the legend of Peyrebeille. The players are locked up in the inn in 1830 and are given 1 hour to escape by solving riddles and tastings. Who can handle it? Tip from the innkeeper: it is also possible to reserve a English version.

Nearby there are several riding stables that also offer the possibility for tourists to go horseback riding or go for a ride with a pony or a carriage.
